Thank you so much for your honest and thoughtful response. Society puts a lot of value on hair and it's a source of angst for many women. When I worked in magazines we almost always wrote a coverline about hair because it was guaranteed to sell magazines. Learning to live in a world that scrutinizes and places value on appearances (particularly for women) is a struggle. I'm so glad we're in it together. xoxo
